NEW JERSEY (CBS) – On the congressional side of things, all three incumbents want to return to D.C. Camden County’s Rob Andrews faces off with Minister Dale Glading. Cumberland County’s Frank LoBiondo is opposed by businessman Gary Stein. The race getting the most attention is Democrat John Adler’s attempt at a second term in a largely Republican 3rd district, including most of Burlington County.
Adler says, “We recognize these are very tough times but people have been very supportive of me and so I think I’m gonna have a chance to serve our country for a couple more years.”
Former Philadelphia Eagle Jon Runyan might have something to say about that, along with someone running on the Tea Party line the Tea Party insists is not one of them. Voters will elect a freeholder in Burlington County, Gloucester and two in Camden and there’s a statewide ballot question on restricting the use of income tax revenues.
