Home Video Report: A Time For Heebie-Jeebies

The arrival of Halloween frequently focuses on horror movies, so if you're interested in owning one of the highest grossing of all such films you should own The Exorcist (above), from 1973.

It's making its debut on Blu-ray in a two-disk edition from Warner Brothers. There's the 122-minute original edition and a 132-minute "extended" edition never seen in theatres.

This is also the week that Sex and The City 2 and "Sex and The City, The Complete Series" are available, with Carrie played by Sarah Jessica Parker. You may recall that the movie sequel did not receive the most positive review.

The Girl Who Played With Fire is the second installment of the Swedish adaptation of Stieg Larson's "Millennium" trilogy, also available on Blu-ray.

There's also the "25th Anniversary Edition of the Back To The Future Trilogy," with Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly, and Winter's Bone, with Jennifer Lawrence as a brave 17-year-old Ozark girl.

And for those who care to remember, there's the boxed set of Johnny Carson and "The Tonight Show."
