BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) – Police in Bensalem (Bucks County) are still trying to identify the remains of a man that were found Friday night by two hunters not far from the stables of the Philadelphia Park racetrack (see previous story).
Police say they will use DNA and dental records to try to get a positive identification on the skeletal remains that were discovered Friday night by two men about ten yards off Galloway Road.
Bensalem public safety director Fred Harran says they believe it’s a white male, about average height, and he was wearing blue jeans, a blue t-shirt, and black sneakers:
“I can’t really discuss some of the details of the autopsy but we don’t believe it’s homicide at this time. We’re looking at some other possibilities.”
The autopsy found no evidence of significant trauma.
Harran says they are going over their missing-persons reports for the last six to 12 months.
