Montgomery County Dad Nabbed In Drug Sting

LANSDALE, Pa. (CBS) -- A 24-year-old Lansdale man was arrested in Montgomery County for allegedly dealing drugs and bringing his three-year old son along for the ride.

Chheng Ploysy of Andover Road was nabbed in an undercover sting operation accused of selling pot at least five times to an undercover detective. According to police, Ploysy would sometimes show up riding a bicycle pulling his son, who was behind the bike in the safety trailer.

District Attorney Risa Ferman said that the Lansdale man faces numerous drug offenses and was also charged with endangering his son's life:

"In the real world, drug dealing is a dangerous crime and all too often drugs go together with gun, go together with violence. They are completely interlinked."

A search of the home that Ploysy shares with his mother turned several baggies of marijuana, a scale, cash and empty baggies. Bail was set at $30,000 cash.
