The KYW Home Video Report
by KYW's Bob Nelson
Highlighting our Video List this week: the release on both standard and Blu-ray of the 1975 Oscar-winner One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, the unforgetable film in which Jack Nicholson plays the madhouse prankster McMurphy from the Ken Keasey novel. He's the classic hell-raiser in a mental hospital who may not be 'insane' but is certainly a hell-raiser of the 'first-water'.
The movie took the top Oscars that year including one for the 31-year-old Michael Douglas who produced the film after his father, Kirk, tried getting it made before giving it up.
Also out: a Blu-ray and Standard release of Just Right with Queen Latifia, My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done, a seldom seen art film from a video game starring Chloe Sevigny and Willem Dafoe.
Then, there's a 3-disc set with 12 episodes of the popular TV series, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Blu-ray has its own version.
And, a 3-disc documentary Volume One of Weapons of War, the history of warfare and how technology has changed the way we fight our battles.
