Police Seek Killer of Logan Laundromat Co-owner

Homicide detectives are asking for the public's help in finding the person who robbed and stabbed a laundromat owner to death last night in Logan.

KYW's Mike DeNardo reports that when 53-year-old Huan Mo's husband and teenage son hadn't heard from her after the 8pm closing time of their family-owned business, they went to Family Laundromat in the 4700 block of North 15th Street.  They found her body in a blood-spattered office about 11:30pm, with coins strewn about the area.

Philadelphia homicide captain James Clark says she had been stabbed multiple times:

"It's very sad.  We believe they got anywhere between $100 and $200.  She lost her life for that.  It's just really sad.  She works every day.  Everyone we talked to loved her.  She was a family woman, a business owner.  And to die in this fashion is just extremely sad."

Clark says there were no security cameras inside.  Detectives are checking cameras at businesses nearby, to see if they captured any images of the attacker.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Division at 215-686-3334 or -3335.
