NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was at Eagles training camp on Tuesday and had a chance to talk about the Michael Vick situation.
KYW’s Ed Benkin reports Goodell (left) says he still believes Michael Vick can be a positive role model, but he also made it clear to Vick that his situation doesn’t allow any more lapses of judgement:
“I want him to understand that he’s in a different position than others — and because of that, he has to conduct himself differently. And he recognizes that, I think, and hopefully he’s going to make better decisions going forward.”
Goodell also says he feels Vick has been making progress since he return before the shooting incident outside a nightclub where Vick was celebrating his birthday.
