Deliberations in Police Murder Trial Enter Day 3

A Philadelphia jury is in its third day of deliberations on Wednesday as it considers verdicts against two men charged with the murder of city police Sargeant Stephen Liczbinski following a bank robbery.

KYW's Tony Hanson reports defendants Eric Floyd and Levon Warner are charged with murder.  The prosecutor is seeking first-degree murder convictions and the death penalty, arguing they shared the intent to kill with triggerman Howard Cain, who was later shot and killed by other officers.

And several questions from the jury, addressed by the judge, have focused on the critical issues related to conspiracy and shared intent.

Floyd's attorney has conceded second-degree murder, which carries an automatic life sentence.
Warner's defense has conceded the robbery, but argued he is NOT guilty of murder.
