This weekend, art lovers will flock to Cooper River Park for a new show.
KYW’s Lynne Adkins reports that the Cooper River Fine Arts Festival runs Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 6pm.
Show director, Bill Kinney says it’s a juried show, which means the artists have to prove they’re good enough to exhibit their works:
“We’re gonna have the artists on site, we’re gonna have sculpture, glass, metal work, photography, mixed media, paintings, jewelry and fiber.”
He says these shows interest art lovers, collectors and families hoping to learn about different pieces and there’s something for everyone — $20 earrings to 38,000 sculptures.
