hamels3 Phillies Fall in Extra Innings to the BravesMatt Diaz doubled in the go-ahead run and Eric Hinske blasted a two-run homer to cap off a three-run 11th inning that lifted Atlanta to a 6-3 win over Philadelphia in the middle meeting of a three-game set.

Jesse Chavez (1-1) earned the win with a scoreless 10th inning and Billy Wagner worked a shutout 11th to earn his 18th save for the Braves, who stopped a two-game skid.

David Herndon (0-2) was tagged with the loss after giving up two runs on two hits over an inning-plus for the Phillies, who have dropped four out of six.

    no outs man on third and jason werth looks at strike 3 ,all he has to do is make contact and game is won ,dont sign him next year,let some other team have him
