Marc Savard Scores Game Winner for Boston

Danny Briere’s spectacular end-to-end goal late in the third period forced overtime, but Boston’s Marc Savard scored with 6:08 remaining in the extra period to give the Bruins the 5-4 win in game one of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.  The Flyers trailed 4-2 midway throught the third when Mike Richards’ power play goal pulled them to within one.  Briere then tied it, before Savard, playing in his first game in seven weeks after suffering a concussion, ended it.  The Flyers will try to even the score Monday night in Boston, a 7:00 PM face off on 610 WIP.
