The African American Museum in Philadelphia hosts the Macy’s Family Fun Day: Juneteenth 150th Celebration this Saturday, June 20th to mark the date when slaves in Galveston, Texas learned that the Civil War had ended and they were free. Join families around the globe to celebrate this day with exhibits, music, presentations and costumed re-enactors and historians from the US Colored Troops Third Regiment.
