And end the night with storytelling and marshmallow roasting around the campfire, too! $15 per family.

The African American Museum in Philadelphia hosts the Macy’s Family Fun Day: Juneteenth 150th Celebration this Saturday, June 20th to mark the date when slaves in Galveston, Texas learned that the Civil War had ended and they were free. Join families around the globe to celebrate this day with exhibits, music, presentations and costumed re-enactors and historians from the US Colored Troops Third Regiment. Then grab a bite to eat at a foodtruck and enjoy kids fun like facepainting and balloon animals, arts and crafts, and more. Free.
American Swedish Art Museum

Celebrate summer at the American Swedish Heritage Museum this Saturday, June 20th from 4-7:30 p.m. with traditional food, drinks, home-made pastries, music and lots more fun including a performance by the Stockholm Boys Choir. $10 for non-members, children ages 4-12 $4.

The Animal Grossology exhibit continues this weekend at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia. Kids of all ages will be amused and educated with this fun exhibit highlighting the slimiest, stinkiest, and yuckiest creatures on earth!
