Top Things To Do In Philadelphia Today, Jun. 10
Looking for something to do today? Here are our top three picks…there's something for everyone in the Philadelphia area!
Happy Hour
5 – 7 p.m., pay as you go
The mysterious Le and his Chinatown speakeasy kicked off a new happy hour special last week, and it's not for the faint of liver. The Tuesday through Friday deal only applies to top-shelf, hard liquor served straight up, though there are some new cocktails on the menu as well.
Great Chefs Event
6 p.m., $350
Treat your taste buds to more than 1,200 goodies from some of the world's best chefs at this culinary fundraiser for both the Vetri Foundation and Alex's Lemonade Stand. While tickets are a bit pricey, the event's for a worthy cause…and it's an excuse to ditch your bikini season diet and indulge sans guilt!
Yoga in the Garden
7 – 8:15 p.m.; $180 for members, $200 for non-members, $25 for single class
Grab your mat and head to the Penn's beautiful Morris Arboretum for a yoga session amongst the trees and flowers. Pro-yogi Jennifer Schelter teaches the 10-class series, which started last week and runs through Aug. 5th. Of course, if you don't want to commit to all 10 classes, no worries: Single sessions are just $25 a pop.
