East Passyunk Holiday Tree Lighting


5 – 7 p.m., pay as you go

Carolers, Santa, free food and holiday cupcakes are just some of the offerings at East Passyunk's annual tree lighting at the iconic Singing Fountain. Following the tree lighting, head down to the Mifflin Triangle for free treats from Ms. Goody Cupcake, visits with Santa and holiday music. Many area shops and restaurants will be staying open late and offering special deals, too.

Yuletide Cheers & Beers Tippler's Tour


5:30 p.m.; $40 for adults and $35 for students, seniors and members of the military

Raise a glass to the Founding Fathers this holiday season during these fun, interactive tours of the city's most historic watering holes. They're even led by an authentic Red Coat soldier, who will regale audiences with tales of yuletides past. Cheers!

Indulge in some guilt-free holiday gift-making at this program, where guests will get to chat and mingle while creating presents from reclaimed and recycled materials. The event is inspired by the museum's ongoing Steven Hayes exhibit, which consists of sculptures inspired by The Brooks slave ship.
