With the holidays right around the corner, now is about the time to start keeping an eye on that beer belly of yours.
Why is that? Well if you're heading home for Thanksgiving, not only are you going to see your family, but chances are you're bound to run into your old high school friends, or worse: the dreaded ex-girlfriend. Since you'll finally be seeing everyone again, you obviously have to look good before you start stuffing your face with stuffing, since you know you're not going to look so good after.
So, if you're looking to slim down before the holidays or just feel like consuming some vegetables to, ya know, like eat healthy or something, head over to V Street, the latest venture from the owners of Vedge.

V Street is the newest 100% vegan restaurant that's serving up your favorite foods, but with a twist, thanks to exotic flavors inspired by ethnic and street foods from around the world. We know vegan food sounds like it would leave you needing a second dinner, but with snacks like Salt N Pepper Green Beans and Piri Piri Tofu, appetizers like Peruvian Fries, and entrees like Langos and Funky Kimchee Noodles, you're bound to get your healthy fill. Plus if you still have a rumble in your tumble, there's always a waffle or some vegan soft serve for dessert.

Don't worry, for those of you who are new to this whole vegan and eating vegetables thing, it doesn't mean you have to give up alcohol (thank goodness). V Street has tons of specialty cocktails for you to guzzle down, like the Colonel Mustard in the Library with a Dagger (don't worry, this drink didn't do it), as well as a wide selection of vegan beers and wine.
FYI: If you're really looking to turn your keg into a six pack, you might want to consider getting some exercise too.
