There's nothing quite like spending the day speeding down a mountain at 50 mph with a pair of sticks strapped to your feet.

Seriously though, skiing is awesome. What could be better than spending the day drinking spiked hot chocolate on the chairlift, enjoying a hot toddy in the lodge and then lounging in a hot tub with some snow bunnies?

However, like any sport, it leaves you quite hungry after the day is done (especially with that outdoor hot tub involved). We know that after hours of skiing or boarding, the last thing you want to do is sit down in a restaurant for a long, drawn out meal; so instead of hitting up the closest fast food joint on the way back into Philly, hit up Jakes Sandwich Board's newest location in University City for a satisfying sandwich.

With a variety of different meats and toppings, you'll definitely find something that'll hit the spot. There's a huge selection of brisket, pork, turkey and veggie sandwiches, and if for some weird reason none of these are gonna do it for you, check out the build your own menu. Here you can simply pick your protein, spread, three toppings and a sauce or gravy, and boom- your own little slice of heaven is created. If you don't think just a sandwich is gonna cut it, don't worry, there are also fantastic sides like farm fries, fried pickles and chocolate covered bacon. Also, if you're feeling extra lazy or are just too sore to move after a day out on the hill, they also have a delivery option. You're welcome.

So ski on into University City's new sandwich haven, and have a salacious sandwich after a long day out on the slopes. Just don't forget to take your face mask off before going inside; you don't wanna look like your robbing the place.
