Philadelphia Easter Fun For The Whole Family

With Easter only one week away, you better hop to it and be sure to bring the kiddos to one of these great Easter events in and around Philly!! Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt

On Sunday, April 1st, enjoy a delicious Easter Brunch, photos with the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt throughout the Elmwood Park Zoo. Brunch features eggs, a fresh waffle station, French toast, the kid fav mac and cheese, plus chicken primavera and more. Tickets are $25 per adult, $15 per child. Two seatings are available at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Easter Egg Hunt

The East Passyunk Easter Egg Hunt takes place in the outdoor gardens at Le Virtu's Restaurant this Saturday, March 31st starting at 11 a.m. Hunts are staggered by age group (11 a.m. for ages 4 and under, 12 p.m. for ages 5-7, 1 p.m. for ages 8-10). Free.

Hayrides to Bunnyland

Linvilla's Hayrides to Bunnyland are an annual tradition in our house, and if you haven't been, I can say it's a family trip worth making! Kids get to take a hayride through the woods out to the Easter Bunny's home, where the bunny emerges to greet children, take photos and hand out little bags of Easter candy. Plus, check out the baby chick display. Hayrides to Bunnyland runs Saturday, March 31st through Saturday, April 7th from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tickets are $8 per person.

Easter at the Bellevue

Easter at The Bellevue takes place on Saturday, March 31st at the Bellevue Food Court. There will be FREE photos with the Easter Bunny from 12 – 2 p.m., a setup for kids to decorate a picture frame to take home with them, as well as goody bags!

Easter Bunny Hops a Helicopter

Imagine your child's delight at seeing the Easter Bunny arrive via helicopter on Saturday, March 31st at the American Helicopter Museum in West Chester. Photos with the Easter Bunny start at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for kids of all ages and include meeting the Easter Bunny, all-you-can-jump moon bounces, healthy snacks, face painting, and other holiday activities. Adults $10.

New Hope & Ivy Land Easter Bunny Express

Hop on board the New Hope & Ivy Land Easter Bunny Express for a special visit with the Easter Bunny during this 45 minute train ride through beautiful Bucks County. The bunny visits with each child, hands out treats and of course, poses for photos (extra fee for photo packages). The Easter Bunny Express runs Saturday, March 31st; Sunday, April 1st; Friday, April 6th; Saturday, April 7th and Sunday, April 8th. Tickets are $6.25 - $33.95. Easter Egg Hunt and Workshop

The American Swedish History Museum hosts an Easter egg hunt and workshop this Sunday, April 1st from 2 – 4 p.m. Introduce your little ones to unique Swedish Easter traditions, such as dressing up as Easter witches. Plus, enjoy face painting, crafts and more! Free for members and children under age 2. $8 for non-members.

Penns Woods 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Vineyard

This free giant egg hunt at the Penns Woods Winery in Chadds Ford, PA will feature refreshments, games and toys for the children in addition to the egg hunt. Plus, adults can take part in wine and cupcake pairings (for an additional fee), while the kids enjoy juice and cupcake pairings, too ($4)! Free. Reservations suggested to ensure there are enough eggs.

Waterloo Gardens in Devon plays host to an Easter Egg hunt with hundreds of eggs hidden amidst the flowers on Saturday, April 7th at 9:30 a.m. for ages 4 and under, and 10:15 a.m. for ages 5-8. Bring your camera and an Easter Basket! Free, but best to call in advance for reservations.

81st Annual Easter Promenade

The 81st Annual Easter Promenade will take place on Sunday, April 8th, with the parade at 1 p.m. and the costume contest immediately to follow. Bring the whole family in their Easter best for dancing, music, fun, the mummers, prizes, treats and more. Free.
