PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Laurel Hill Cemetery is also a destination for the living. Here are few upcoming events that become unique with the backdrop of a historic grave site.

Yoga in Laurel Hill Cemetery

YOGA IN THE CEMETERY

Saturday, Aug. 6 at 11 a.m.
Gatehouse entrance at 3822 Ridge Ave

Yogis tend to pick peaceful spots to their downward dogs and shavasanas. The beach in the early morning hours. A tranquil spot out in the backyard. Or maybe a few impromptu poses inside when the little ones are down for their nap.

But if dead quiet is what you're after, yogis can find it at the Laurel Hill Cemetery which is offering a one-hour session overlooking the Schuylkill River.

The class will focus on alignment, strength and balance and will be led by yoga instructor, Emily Tara.

The suggested fee is $10 per person and all participating yogis should bring their own mats.

Those who are interested can sign up online at thelaurelhillcemetery.org.
