Here's Where Vets Can Eat For Free On Veterans Day 2016

Businesses throughout the country are showing their thanks for military vets by offering them free meals, special discounts and more on Friday, November 11.

Vets eat free at the Crabby Dick's on Coastal Highway in Rehoboth as well as the Clinton Street location in Delaware City. Veterans can get a free meal worth up to $15.

CRACKER BARREL

Veterans who visit Cracker Barrel on November 11 will receive a complimentary Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake. And now through November 11, the restaurant is donating 10 percent of its rocking chair proceeds to Operation Homefront, a charity that helps military families. Denny's is inviting veterans and active military to stop by any participating location between 5 a.m. and noon for a free build-your-own Grand Slam. Vets will get to custmize their order from a choice of pancakes, eggs, bacon, fruit and hash browns. Click here to find the location nearest you.

Vets and active military are invited to Friendly's for their choice of breakfast, lunch or dinner on the house. Opting for breakfast will get them a choice of either two buttermilk pancakes, two slice of Brioche French toast or regular toast as well as either two strips of crispy bacon or two sausage links, paired with two made-to-order eggs, plus a free cup of coffee. IHOP is getting patriotic with their red, white and blue pancakes -- free to veterans and active military on November 11. Vets who visit a participating restaurant between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. will get three buttermilk pancakes with glazed strawberries, blueberry compote and whipped topping.
