The Pier Shops at Caesars

The Pier Shops is a three-story-high shopping and entertainment mecca that stretches out on a 900 foot pier over the Atlantic Ocean. It's connected to Caesars by a sky bridge, but is also accessible from the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

The Pier's many diverse stores offer something to suit every shopping style, personality and budget, from specialty shops like candy emporium IT'SUGAR, to an Apple store, a Brookstone, a Tommy Bahama, a Victoria's Secret and a MAC Cosmetics store. Additionally, The Pier is home to dozens of famous designer labels including: A|X Armani Exchange, Baccarat, Max Azria, Burberry, Cole Haan, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Movado and Tiffany & Co.

Another unique feature at The Pier is the water show, which combines light, water and sound for an amazing production. Performances are every hour on the hour, beginning at noon.

Shoppers can also take a break from browsing by taking a seat in an Adirondack chair in the "sand" and looking out at the beach, boardwalk and ocean—you might even catch a spectacular sunset!

Finally, The Pier has a dynamic mix of eateries on the third level along restaurant row, including Stephen Starr's Buddakan and Continental.

The Pier's retail hours are Monday thru Friday 11AM-9PM, Saturday 10AM-9PM and Sunday 10AM-6PM; restaurants maintain longer hours.

The Washington Street Mall

Whether you're looking for a unique find or a kitschy souvenir, The Washington Street Mall in historic Cape May has enough shops to appease young, first-time visitors as well as those who have been coming back for years. With brick walkways and Victorian-style lighting, landscaping and water fountains, this pedestrian mall was constructed in 1972 as a three-block concourse, and in 1976, it—along with the entire city of Cape May--was declared a National Historic Landmark. Today, the retail destination has become a tourist attraction for people from around the world.

The Washington Street Mall is comprised of small, independent shops, many of which are multi-generational, family-owned. Merchants can still be seen sweeping the sidewalks in front of their shops, and several stores date back to the 1800s. Merchandise includes women's, men's and children's apparel; art galleries; jewelry stores; toy stores; ice cream parlors; sidewalk cafes and restaurants. Some retailers are: Shades of Cape May, Shoe Rack, Lynn Arden's Children Shoppe, Cape May Art Gallery, Whale's Tale, Andrew's Limited, The Toy Shop of Cape May and Zoo Company.

There are three blocks that make up the promenade: the 300, 400 and 500 block. Store hours vary, and there are parking lots available for shoppers to leave their vehicles in.
