Guide To The 2015 Philadelphia Home Show

It's that time of year again! The Philadelphia Home Show is back and bringing with it tons of landscaping and design events and exhibits. Check out our guide for the inside scoop.

THE BASICS

Where: The Philadelphia Home Show is held inside the Pennsylvania Convention Center at 12th & Arch Streets and features tons of exhibitors in home design, construction, cleaning, electronics, art, organization and more.

When: Jan. 17-19 and 23-25, 2015

Saturday, January 17: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
Sunday, January 18: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Monday, January 19: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
Friday, January 23: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
Saturday, January 24: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
Sunday, January 25: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

HIGHLIGHTS

Here are just some of the fun things happening at this year's show:

Happy Hour at the Home Show!

Yes, there's a beer garden at this year's Home Show! For two hours every day, different craft breweries will be spotlighted and beer tastings will be offered to the 21 and up crowd.

"Serving Up Style" Design Rooms

Five local designers have created amazing tabletop installations at this year's show. Attendees can peruse the gorgeous rooms, then vote for their favorite.

The Painted Home & Elite Landscaping

On Saturdays (Jan. 17th and Jan. 24th), blogger Denise Sabia, who we spotlighted here, and Mike Pasquarello of Elite Landscaping, will show guests how to create a fantastic outdoor living room.

Hero Day

On Monday, Jan. 19th, the Philadelphia Home Show will honor military, firefighters and police officers by offering them a free ticket with ID.

Ultimate Upcycle Challenge: Let It Grow

Celebrity experts and emerging style, décor and interior design bloggers are invited to enter this contest. Presented by Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia ReStore, contestants will have to source and repurpose items from the Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia ReStore to create a unique planter. All entries will be displayed throughout the Philly Home Show, and the winner will receive a grand prize $500 Visa Card and will be announced based on public voting on Facebook and at the show. Celebrity Appearances: There are a few celebrities slated to attend, including James Young of DIY Nework's "I Hate My Kitchen" and the "Beekman Boys" from the Cooking Channel. Several sports personalities are also on the roster. For a full list of notable guests, click here.

TICKETS

Adults are $13, kids (6-12) are $3 and kids under 5 are free. If you buy your adult tickets online here, you'll chop $3 off the purchase price.

DIRECTIONS & PARKING

This year, the South Philadelphia IKEA is offering free parking and a shuttle to the show. For more info, click here.
