DEFEND YOUR RIDE: Patrick In Newtown Square

Q: Hi Patrick. Nice car. What can you tell us about it? Did you buy it around here?

A: I bought it from Reedman-Toll in Langhorne, Pennsylvania about three months ago. This 2012 Chevy Camaro is my dream car. It's my first brand-new car. I couldn't be happier with my choice. I use it to commute to and from work. I'm in it about an hour a day between Conshohocken and Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.

Q: Awesome. Your car seems like a pretty happy purchase for you. If it had a theme song, seeing as it looks so sleek and adventurous, what would it be?

A: "Dear Rosemary" by the Foo Fighters.

Q: Classic. Do you ever take this bad boy out on road trips?

A: I'll take short vacations to either the shore or the mountains. It makes the long drives a little more tolerable. So far, the farthest place I've driven it has been to Maryland for a golf trip a week after I purchased it. I let my dad drive. I figured he deserved it for the whole raising me thing.

Q: Fair enough! Finally, how does driving your Chevy Camaro make you feel?

A: I love driving my car! It's a manual and it responds to the slightest touch of the pedal. The car seriously sounds like it's growling when you're in first gear. I would drive this car for the rest of my life. In the future, it may not look as cool with a car seat in the back, but I'm willing to sacrifice that fact!
