Cheney Says Pennsylvania Rep. Scott Perry, Other Republican Congressmembers Sought Pardons After Jan. 6
PHILADELPHIA (CBS NEWS) -- Vice Chairwoman Rep. Liz Cheney said one of her fellow Republicans, Pennsylvania Rep. Scott Perry, sought a pardon from Trump after Jan. 6, 2021. But he wasn't the only one, she said. Perry rejected the committee's subpoena.
"Multiple other Republican congressmen also sought presidential pardons for their roles in attempting to overturn the 2020 election," she said.
