Delaware Volunteers, State Officials Plant Trees In Brandywine Park In Honor Of Earth Day
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) - Volunteers and state officials planted trees in honor of Earth Day. They gathered at Jasper Crane Rose Garden in Brandywine Park on Monday.
It was part of an initiative called "A Tree for Every Delawarean."
Young volunteers were also honored with awards from the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control.
