Companies With Ties To Russia, Belarus Banned From Doing Business With New Jersey

TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) -- New Jersey is banning companies with ties to Russia or Belarus from doing business with the Garden State. Gov. Phil Murphy signed the legislation into law.

The bipartisan measure is aimed at punishing Russian President Vladimir Putin's regime, as well as the government of Belarus over its support of the invasion of Ukraine.
