Abington School District Votes To Make Masks Optional

ABINGTON, Pa. (CBS) -- Another school district in the Philadelphia region is dropping its mask mandate. On Thursday night in Montgomery County, Abington School District board members voted to adopt a new health and safety plan, which includes making masks optional.

The new rules apply in all district buildings and on school vehicles.  

Earlier this week, Philadelphia dropped its mask mandate for most indoor public spaces.
