PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The shuttered Cobbs Creek Golf Course in West Philly will be restored to its former glory. On Wednesday, the city announced $65 million will be invested as part of a revitalization project.
The public course closed in 2020 due to structural and safety concerns.
The new project will include creating a brand-new education and community center on the site.
Construction is scheduled to begin this spring.
