PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Some say there is nothing better than starting off the day with a good cup of coffee. CBS3’s Vittoria Woodill takes us to a local coffee shop and creamery in the first Open For Business segment of 2022.

Roasting the perfect cup of joe is part of the mission at White Horse Coffee and Creamery in Jenkintown.

It’s owned by Jean Brillman, a former horse trainer, current horse show judge, mother and wife. Brillman’s love of horses is pictured everywhere in the cafe.

Her small-batch coffee shop and retail/production space across the street focuses on a much bigger picture — one that not only affects coffee drinkers and horse lovers, but everyone.
