Driver Arrested After Fatally Striking Bicyclist In West Philadelphia, Police Say

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A car struck and killed a bicyclist and then slammed head-on into a utility pole Monday night. It happened near 46th Street and Lancaster Avenue in West Philadelphia at 8 p.m.

Police say the victim is a 63-year-old man, and he was traveling in the bike lane.

Officers arrested the 44-year-old driver of the car.

We are working to learn what charges she is facing.
