Philadelphia's George W. Sharswood School Gets 'Green Makeover'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The George W. Sharswood School got a green makeover Saturday. Members of the school community joined together to add more green space to the South Philly school.
Planter boxes were added along with a soft turf play area, which is a big deal considering they've only had concrete playgrounds at the school.
The architectural firm Nelson had volunteers at Sharswood. Saturday marked the 2021 Green Apple Day of Service.
