HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) — The leaders of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board went head to head with lawmakers Wednesday over the newly imposed two-bottle limit.

It was a joint hearing between the board and the Senate Law and Justice Committee. Earlier this month, the board restricted sales on more than 40 products. That list includes whiskey and champagne.

The board cited supply chain shortages for the limitations.

The board said the 43 products restricted amount for only 1% of its business.
