Preliminary Hearing To Be Held For Villanova University Football Player Elijah Solomon Accused Of Sex Assault
VILLANOVA, Pa. (CBS) - A preliminary hearing will be held Wednesday for a Villanova University football player accused of attempted sex assault on campus. Elijah Solomon was arrested earlier this month.
The former linebacker faces attempted sexual assault and related charges stemming from the 2019 incident involving a female student.
After his arrest, another student came forward, claiming Solomon assaulted her in his dorm room.
If convicted, Solomon faces up to ten years in prison.
