Americans Expected To Spend Over $21 Billion On Easter This Year, National Retail Federation Says

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The pandemic lockdown has people itching to get out and celebrate. Many are sparing no expense on Easter.

The National Retail Federation says consumers plan to spend nearly $180 on Easter, that's the highest on record -- totaling $21.6 billion.

Many said they will be cooking a big holiday feast and planning easter egg hunts.
