Masks, Hand Sanitizer And Other PPE is Tax-Deductible, IRS Says
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- All that personal protective equipment you bought over the past year is tax-deductible. The IRS says you can write off items including masks, hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes.
The policy covers PPE purchased since Jan. 1, 2020.
But you'll need to itemize deductions as part of your medical expenses for the year.
