Section Of Schuylkill River Trail To Be Closed For 3 Months For Repairs

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A popular trail is getting some repairs. A section of the Schuylkill River Trail will close starting Monday, Feb. 15 for retaining wall repair.

The project will affect the area under the Chestnut Street Bridge in Center City and is expected to take three months.

Detours will be posted so trail users can navigate their way around.

The retaining wall supports the trail along the east bank of the Schuylkill River.
