Police: Arrest Made After 61-Year-Old Woman Assaulted With Baseball Bat In Kingsessing
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A 61-year-old woman is recovering in the hospital after Philadelphia police say she was assaulted with a baseball bat. This happened around 2:20 a.m. Sunday on the 1100 block of South 52nd Street.
Police say the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
Police say an arrest was made but no further information has been released.
An investigation is ongoing.
