After More Than 100 Responses, 29-Pound Cat Named Lasagna Finds Fur-Ever Home, ACCT Philly Says

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A super-sized, 29-pound cat looking for a home is getting a huge response online. The tubby tabby, named Lasagna, was abandoned outside ACCT Philly's shelter on Sunday.

More than 100 people from around the country reached out to try and adopt her. ACCT Philly has picked a family to become Lasagna's fur-ever home.

The agency hopes they can help her lose weight and get back to a healthy size.
