Derrick Sawyer Sworn In As Upper Darby Township's New Fire Chief
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- There is new leadership at the Upper Darby Township Fire Department. Derrick Sawyer was sworn in Monday morning as the department's fire chief.
Sawyer comes to the township from Trenton, where he served as fire director.
He spent the vast majority of his career in Philadelphia and served as Philadelphia's fire commissioner from 2014 to 2016.
