Tolls To Increase On 3 New Jersey Highways Starting Sunday

TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) -- A commuter alert for travelers in New Jersey. Starting Sunday, drivers will be spending more toll money on three New Jersey highways.

There will be a 27% increase to travel on the Garden State Parkway and a 36% increase on the New Jersey Turnpike. The Atlantic City Expressway will go up by an average of 57 cents.

The extra money will fund a $24-billion road improvement plan.
