Survey: 72% Of Americans Did Not Take Vacation This Summer
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Summer vacations took a backseat this year. With safety concerns and economic challenges from the coronavirus pandemic, 72% of Americans did not travel.
Those who took a vacation mostly chose to hit the road instead of the sky.
Forty-four percent of those surveyed didn't use any of their paid time off over the summer.
When asked why, they said they were concerned about furloughs or layoffs.
