Perseid Meteor Shower To Peak Over Philadelphia Area Tuesday Night
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Keep an eye on the skies this week. The annual Perseid meteor shower is scheduled to peak Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
The meteor shower has been active since July but Tuesday is your best chance to see it.
This is considered the Northern Hemisphere's most popular meteor shower of the year.
The meteors are caused by dust and debris left behind from the tail of a comet.
