SEPTA Police Officer Fired For Attacking 2 Protesters With Baton In May
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A SEPTA police officer has been fired for attacking several protesters during the unrest in Center City. SEPTA police say Sgt. Matthew Sinkiewicz struck two protesters with his baton outside of the Municipal Services Building in May.
Sinkiewicz was initially placed on administrative leave a day after the incident.
A criminal investigation into Sinkiewicz's action is still underway.
