Pilot Rescued By Lifeguards After Banner Plane Crashes In Ocean County
SURF CITY, N.J. (CBS) -- Investigators are trying to determine how a banner plane crashed in the waves off of Surf City in Long Beach Island. The plane went down just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday at 13th Street Beach.
The lifeguards on duty were able to rescue the pilot.

Police say he was treated for only minor injuries.
No word on what company the pilot worked for.
