Police: 40-Year-Old Man Shot, Killed Execution-Style In Broad Daylight In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a 40-year-old man was shot and killed execution-style in North Philadelphia on Wednesday evening. It happened shortly after 5 p.m. on the 3700 block of North Gratz Street.

The victim was shot five times throughout his head and body at close range, according to police.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.

So far, no arrests have been made. Investigators are looking for two people who were last seen running two blocks from where the shooting occurred.
