West Oak Lane Contract Killer Suspected In 4 Different Philadelphia Murders Arrested: Officials
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A West Oak Lan man suspected in four different murders in Philadelphia has been arrested, police say. Authorities announced charges against 25-year-old Steven Williams on Friday.
The four murders happened over the span of eight months from September 2018 to May 2019, police say.
District Attorney Larry Krasner says Williams was a contract killer who earned thousands of dollars.
"His streak of wanton, violent crimes against our communities over the past two-plus years ends today," Krasner said.
Police say Williams was arrested on Wednesday and is currently being held at SCI Mahanoy in Frackville for unrelated crimes that took place in Montgomery County.
Williams is facing four murder charges as well as related offenses.
