SEPTA Surprises Employee With Party On 50th Work Anniversary
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - SEPTA honored one of its longest-serving employee on Wednesday with a surprise party for his 50th work anniversary. Russell Gardner currently works at the NRG station as a custodian.
He says his secret is taking pride in what you do.
SEPTA said Gardner has only called out sick twice.
So what was his reaction to all the attention?
He joked, "Thank you, can I go back to work?"
