Coronavirus Latest: Annual Stotesbury Cup Regatta In Philadelphia Cancelled Over COVID-19 Concerns
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Organizers for Philadelphia's annual Stotesbury Cup Regatta have canceled this year's event over COVID-19 concerns. The Stotesbury is the largest high school rowing regatta in the world.
It draws close to 6,000 student-athletes and thousands of spectators to the Schuylkill River every May.
Officials say the regatta will be back in May 2021.
