Delaware County Passes $5 Vehicle Registration Fee Intended To Help Pay For Bridge, Road Improvements

MEDIA, Pa. (CBS) -- Residents in Delaware County will now pay a $5 fee to register their vehicles. Councilmembers on Friday unanimously approved the measure.

The council says the move is anticipated to raise more than $4 million for bridge and road improvements.

The fee could be put in place by May 24 at the earliest.
