Artists Expected To Finish Fixing Defaced Cecil B. Moore Mural In North Philadelphia This Week
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Artists are expected to return this week to fix a mural of Cecil B. Moore that was defaced with racist graffiti on Saturday. Someone wrote an expletive followed by a racial slur on the mural at the corner of Jefferson and Bouvier Streets in North Philadelphia.
Crews worked to remove the graffiti overnight Saturday and Sunday, but the mural still needs to be repaired.
Police are still looking for the vandal.
