Mercy Hospital In West Philadelphia To Close Inpatient Facility
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Mercy Hospital in West Philadelphia has revealed plans to close their inpatient facility. The hospital says it has lost 25% of its patient volume since 2013 and has not been profitable for six of the last seven years.
There are currently 187 inpatient beds at the hospital and 900 employees.
The timeline for the closure is unclear right now.
